DAY 1 SYDNEY - MELBOURNE BY COACH

DAY 2 MELBOURNE CITY + PHILLIP ISLAND (CAPTAIN COOK’S COTTAGE + ST PATRICK'S CATHEDRAL + EUREKA TOWER + CHINATOWN + CROWN CASINO + YARRA CRUISE + PENGUIN PARADE + NOBBIES CENTRE + PANNY'S CHOCOLATE FACTORY - ONLY IN SUMMER)

 

We will begin Melbourne city tour in the morning, includes Captain Cook’s Cottage, St Patrick's Cathedral, Eureka Tower, Chinatown, and Crown Casino. Drive through some of Melbourne's beautiful parks and gardens. Enjoy a spectacular Yarra river cruise, explore Melbourne from the picturesque Yarra River, the ancient waterway that continues to nourish and define the city.

In the afternoon, pass by the National Tennis Centre, Entertainment Centre and Olympic venues and follow the Yarra River to the eastern suburbs. We'll see AFL Park Stadium before skirting Western Port Bay. At the fishing village of San Remo, we'll cross onto Phillip Island, home for one of the largest colonies of Little Penguins.

Visit the Nobbies Centre, world’s largest Australian fur Seal Colony. Then witness the world phenomenon of the Penguin Parade. Each evening at Summerland Beach the Little Penguins return from the sea and make their way to their burrows. Watch as they cross the beach and walk under the elevated boardwalk.

In summer, you will also visit Panny’s Chocolate Factory, the sweetest and mostaddictive attraction on Phillip Island, and see the famous chocolate waterfall.

DAY 3 BALLARAT + GREAT OCEAN ROAD (SOVEREIGN HILL + GOLD MUSEUM + TWELVE APOSTLES + LOCH ARD GORGE + GIBSON'S STEPS)

 

Imagine going back over a century to Victoria’s gold rush days and reliving the history and excitement of the era. Start your adventure in the gold digging, visit shops in Main Street of Sovereign Hill which are open for business.

Visit the Gold Museum which extends Sovereign Hill's story of Ballarat as a majestic provincial city built on the wealth of the 1850's gold rush. This surprisingly interesting museum houses a large collection of gold nuggets found at Ballarat.

Then proceed to the Great Ocean Road - one of the world's most spectacular coastlines. You can have a ride on helicopter (own expense) to watch the well-known Twelve Apostles in the air. Then move on to Loch Ard Gorge and Gibson’s Steps. Enjoy the amazing scenery of Great Ocean Road.
